"What they were mourning wasnโt the office. They were mourning the loss of unreciprocated access.โ

โBlack women did not become goddesses because they wanted to. They became godlike because survival required transcendence.โ

โMost dominant institutions in the United States are rooted in white supremacy. Not symbolically.
Structurally. Historically. Intentionally.
So what does it mean to โbelongโ to something that was never designed for your safety, dignity, or flourishing?โ

"In this current momentโmarked by political regression, economic precarity, and institutional hostilityโBlack women are once again stepping back.
Not because they lacked ambition.
But because the bargain was bad."

"You cannot repair a system-wide injury with a symbolic transaction.
True reparations must be understood for what they actually are: corrections to every system that has oppressed, extracted from, and destabilized Black life."

โEpstein isnโt an anomaly. Heโs a symptom.
So instead of asking โHow did he get away with it?โ
Iโm more interested in asking:
What would our systems look like if getting away with harm wasnโt possible anymore?โ

๐ 8. The Cultural Ethic
Not dominance.
Not extraction.
Not punishment.
Interdependence.
Dignity.
Repair.
Rest.
Joy.๏ฟผ
โ๏ธ 7. Justice as Repair, Not Punishment
Justice model:
Truth processes
Reparative labor
Community witnessing
Trauma healing
Pathways home
No disposability.๏ฟผ
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน 6. Healing as Public Infrastructure
System design includes:
Free therapy, bodywork, grief spaces
Paid rest sabbaticals
Communal child care
Eldercare as sacred duty
Rituals for collective mourning + joy
Rest is governance.๏ฟผ
๐ 5. Education as Liberation
Learning model:
History told from the oppressed
Emotional literacy + conflict skills
Community apprenticeships
Healing arts alongside science
Creativity as essential, not extra
Education exists to free the mindโnot discipline it.๏ฟผ
๐ง๐ป๐ง๐ฝโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ฆณ๐ด๐ฟ 4. Leadership as Stewardship
Power structure:
Rotating councils
Term limits
Collective decision-making
No permanent elites
Elders + youth at the table
Authority comes from trust, not force.๏ฟผ
๐ต 3. Economy of Enough
New economic structure:
Guaranteed housing, food, healthcare, and rest
Work as contribution, not survival
Universal income + community cooperatives
Wealth caps + community investment trusts
Reparations as infrastructure, not charity
Life shouldnโt require exhaustion.
๐ซ๐ฎโโ๏ธ 2. Safety Without Policing
New safety model:
Community response teams trained in de-escalation
Restorative councils instead of courts
Trauma-care first responders, not armed ones
Removal from community only when necessaryโand with pathways back
No cages.
No permanent banishment.
๐ A HUMANE SYSTEM
Designed from Black Womenโs Survival Intelligence
๐ 1. The Moral Center: Care, Not Control
Humane system:
Built to protect life, dignity, rest, and repair.
Core principle:
If a system harms the most vulnerable, it is illegitimate.
The most vulnerable define legitimacy.
If we want to avoid becoming him, we need to start thinking about and articulating what we what the new humane systems to look like.
If Luke represents withdrawal and Rey represents hope, Kylo represents the danger of awakening without integration.
He sees the system is broken.
He rejects the old myths.
But he doesnโt yet know how to build something humane in their place.
Kylo hasnโt healed. Heโs just moved from being dominated to dominating. Thatโs the tragedy of his arc in this film: he wants liberation, but only knows how to replicate hierarchy.
Pay attention class. The United States is teaching โHow to Become an Insurrectionist 101โ
6๏ธโฃ
And an intergenerational protection clause so these rights can never be rolled back. This isnโt about catching up. Itโs about repairing a stolen life system.
5๏ธโฃ
Reparations must also include land & housing sovereignty, guaranteed income for one generation, Black-run schools, culture & mental health care.
4๏ธโฃ
That means: automatic federal investigations for police violence, independent civilian courts, immediate officer removal, no qualified immunity, and lifetime care + payouts for survivors.
3๏ธโฃ
But money alone isnโt enough. There must be protection from state harm. We need a Right to Bodily Sovereignty โ a Black Civil Protection Guarantee.
2๏ธโฃ
Economic repair must include: no taxation, full debt forgiveness, free college & trade school, universal healthcare, first-time homebuyer grants, and protected business funding.
1๏ธโฃ
Reparations canโt be a one-time check. Black Americans need system repair, not symbolism. True reparations must correct every system built to extract from us.

Black people are willing to die but not kill for the movement.
Do black folks just have an immaculate moral compass?
OR
IS IT PROGRAMMING BY OPPRESSIVE SYSTEMS?
I JUST wrote a post about how black folk are unwilling to dehumanize others.
BUT damn that might have been the koolaid talking.
Black people are willing to die for the movement, but they arenโt willing to kill.
Do black folks just have an immaculate moral compass?
