The US yesterday vowed not to attack Iran's oil infrastructure, today it is reportedly bombing Iranian oil tankers.

All the calculation is managing to achieve is empowering Trump and encouraging him to go further. I see Von Der Leyen has now basically stated that the illegal war is a great thing. This is on top of Merz declaring that international law doesn't apply to Iran. This is absolute insanity.

Putin doesn't want to destroy the US, that's just sheer nonsense. I do wonder though just what the US political establishment has to do for people to stop looking at smokescreens and join the very obvious dots that lead to Israel.

The world should have done this with the US before Trump and it should continue to do so after. The US has been a rapacious monster on the world stage for decades. Trump didn't invade Iraq, he didn't kill tens of thousands with drones, nor did he begin Washington's enablement of the Gaza Genocide.

The US supplies Ukraine with intelligence to help kill Russian soldiers, and has done so for years. Russia has a defensive pact with Iran. The outrage over Russia doing exactly what the US is doing seems very labored and contrived.

If Russia bombed a school killing 160 no one would be asking if it was intentional or a mistake. No one would be asking if it was just due to incompetence. It would be a declared war crime and there would be justified outrage, but when they US is responsible we have this mealy-mouthed reflection.

I wasn't surprised an alternative indy party was created given the mess the SNP was getting into, however it quickly became evident that it was more of an anti-SNP party than an independence party. It was hard to tell at times if you were debating with an Alba supporter or a rabid Unionist.

Zelensky is in the process of selling his country to Trump, and every time Trump gives him a scare he sells some more. Trump knows what he's doing on this, which is why it's a mystery that Zelensky and Europe keep falling for it.

The claim that Iran is supplying drones to Russia is a laughable. Russia has enough production capacity to supply itself. There was cooperation in drone design but the term Shahid for Russian drones just refers to the design.

Such a good man that he lied to the people of his country and dragged them into a proxy war, then won't realistically discuss peace as he knows he's toast as soon as this war ends.

It's an odd comparison. If you're going for corrupt murderous war criminals you've no little choice of US presidents. Citing Milosevic as comparable to Netanyahu really does nothing more than underplay the extent of the latter's criminality. I could have led with that.
