All that to say, yeah I believe you and you'll visit that place.
I think it's a shortcoming of the display algorithm--or lack thereof(??). Foregoing the whole rage bait/echo chamber incentive (ie. X, FB, etc), display algorithms do help us see the posts we probably want to and get rid of some of the noise.
