And that's not even getting into earthquakes. We had three last year. Every time the house shakes now, there's a moment where I just run the list until it's confirmed the neighbour just slammed his car door a bit too hard.
Local news sites are all saying it was "most likely a meteor."
Living by the port, loud booms can be train derailment, cargo containers or the wheat storage exploding or the refinery up the coast going up... meteors are so much more interesting.
There's a report of a flash behind the north shore mountains... guys, I think we got hit by a meteor. The bang was heard all across Vancouver, as far away as Langley and Mission.
Loving the theory it might have been a meteor.
Our neighbourhood FB page is lit up. Someone suggesting a transformer blown but that sounds way too big.
Anyone else in Vancouver feel that?
