This is Charles Clyde Ebbets, the photographer who took the iconic “Lunch atop a Skyscraper” picture. Look at this fearless, dapper fuck wearing spats, suspenders, and a tie 850 feet above the ground. Absolute legend.
Five different sketches depicting Krampus (scary Alpine folklore figure). 1. "Woodblock" faces the viewer directly with a stern face in almost a saint-like pose holding a switch and a piece of coal. 2. "Abstract" a border of chains frames a demonic creatures drawn entirely out of triangles. 3. "Pocket Monster" a cute version of Krampus with a long curly tongue and tail and big eyes. 4. "Dating Sim" a hot anime boy version with a fur vest and absurd chain weapon. 5. "Horror film" a grotesque version with a mean leer holding a pitchfork and wearing bloody rags.

Definitely recommend checking out this non-profit, in addition to classes they also have a whole library of tools people can check out and a woodworking workshop people can use on their own projects.

Cory and I made a cutting board together in a workshop class at the Denver Tool Library! It was so much fun. The instructor was great, we learned new things, and now we have a cutting board we can treasure for years. (The woods from lightest to darkest are maple, cherry, and walnut!)

I am making a new character playlist and it's such a specific mood that it's hard to find songs that hit right. If anybody has any recommendations for songs about people finding humor or joy in the absurdity of life (rather than apathy and despair, which often seems to be the vibe on that topic) lmk
