She was in Nazareth House orphanage in Cardiff which you’ll have heard of. She read tea leaves at dinner parties in Llandaff - worked as a cleaner for them then would go back at night and entertain the ladies.
On #IWD remembering my great-nan Mabel - raised in an orphanage and made to sleep on the kitchen floor by the nuns because she wasn’t white, raised 3 daughters after her husbands death with money made from clairvoyance, and gave me 10p for sweets every Saturday. She outlived her 3 daughters.
I have a vague recollection of this. Good times. 🙄

I’m not one for taking video at gigs but I took a quickie last night. Watched it back this morning and spotted my daughter and her boyfriend’s family going mad in the balcony seats (left side) even though I hadn’t known where they were.

Was supposed to be her last treatment today but nothing goes according to plan so we now have one more. And I have to be in the room as she’s a minor.
Once again find myself in the room with my daughter whilst she’s having dental treatment. Me, the woman who doesn’t watch THAT scene in Marathon Man. Honestly her 18th birthday can’t come quick enough.
Scorching here today. Been out in a T-shirt. Gone from big coat weather to no coat weather. Completely bypassed cute denim jacket weather.
