With Mitch McConnell retiring at the end of his term, #Kentucky has a Senate seat up for grabs in 2026. The democratic nominees are going to have to differentiate themselves amongst each other in ways the appeal to the many that feel that they haven’t been given a voice in years past.
Visiting West Virginia was eye-opening. Once a reliably blue state in this country, has since dwindled in economic growth. Now, it’s a ruby red state with stagnant wages and a declining population. A stark reminder that the left needs to go back to their roots, and deny billionaire donors!

I had disdain for Charlie Kirk and the MAGA movement. I do not advocate for what they stand for, but I detest the usage of fear and violence to silence those that you have political differences with even more. This sets a dangerous precedent, and is an omen to where we are headed as a country.
So, let me make sure this makes sense: Donald Trump’s, name was “falsely planted” in the Epstein Files by Obama, yet Trump said he never knew the guy, to then saying he did know him but had a falling out at Maralago, to Mike Johnson stating he was an FBI informant…yet it’s all democrat Hoax?
Now that this regime has officially declared that the Department of Defense will be renamed to the Department of War—the gloves are off, and they are no longer being covert. Trump and his sycophantic worshippers are nothing more than filthy warmongers.
That was one of the most batshit press conferences of Trump's public life. He brandished a photo of Putin and promised to deploy the US military to occupy Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. A sane country would be moving toward impeachment and removal right now.
Covid hit me hard with weight gain—I was roughly 255-260lbs at my heaviest. I did lose weight, and I’ve been floating around 215-218lbs for a couple years now. I’ve maintained the weight, but hit a plateau with my weight loss journey. Time to work extra hard and get down to my goal weight of 190lbs!
There was also a lot of bigotry: closed-mindedness, religious dogmatism, and deep-rooted prejudice towards people of color and women, among other things. My dad being Californian, I definitely had a lot of influence from west coast areas. My accent an indication that I don’t sound like I’m southern.
There are a few things that do make me appreciate growing up in the American south; Winding country roads, the taste of sweet tea and the smell of freshly baked cornbread. The twang of a guitar, friendly chatter from a neighbor, classic politeness at all times—those good things do stand out to me.
Gaza is being starved by Israel, day-in day-out. Israel’s regime has went so far to say multiple times that refusing humanitarian aid is “moral” and their occupation is permanent.
