Someone on that other site described it as “Twin Peaks for kids” and I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a more accurate description of any show ever.

The horribly tragic news about Michelle Trachtenberg sent me down a “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” rabbit hole. What a wonderful, bizarre show that was.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is "watching" the outbreak, which he described as "not unusual" during a Wednesday meeting of President Donald Trump's cabinet members. The health secretary did not provide specifics on how or if the federal agency is assisting on the ground.
CDC chart of measles cases, showing a profound drop off after the vaccine was introduced in 1963 and an elimination declared in 2000.
No one had died of measles in America for ten years, until yesterday.
That 2015 death in WA was preceded by a 12y period of no US deaths. www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...

Normalizing spelling out what people actually mean when they cite DEI rather than letting them hide behind the safe cover of a euphemism that's been sapped of meaning
Can’t tell me there were ten movies this year better than Nosferatu.
RIP David Lynch. ‘Mulholland Drive’ is still the biggest mind-warp of a movie I’ve ever watched.
I was 14 years old in 2004, spending a summer week with family in New Jersey. My aunt took me to a Newark Bears game, and there leading off--at age 45--was Rickey Henderson. Started the game with a sharp single to left. An indelible baseball memory for me.
Rest in peace, Rickey.
What in god’s name were the Bears thinking?
Warriors crunch time offense the last few games has been absolutely brutal.
For some reason, I didn’t see that Snell news coming and I totally, 100% should have.
Warriors 2nd half plus-minus this season with and without Curry on the floor:
With: +81
Without: -20
If score holds, this will be largest margin of defeat for 49ers since Week 7 of 2018, when they lost 39-10 to the Rams at Levi’s.
Even considering the 0-9 start in 2017, don’t think I’ve ever seen the 49ers look this bad under Kyle Shanahan. They look cooked to a crisp.
I appreciate Cowboys-Commanders ingesting a fistful of shrooms before playing out that final sequence.
Warriors looked a lot like last year’s edition tonight, which is disconcerting. That said, last year’s team definitely loses this game.
De'Anthony Melton being out for the rest of the season is a huge loss for the Warriors. Huge
In his 3 games after returning from 5 games out: 14.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.3 spg, 45.0 3P%
In 47 minutes with Steph Curry: 136.5 Ortg, 98.1 Drtg, 38.4 net rating

Thought before the season the Niners would have a real tough time repeating last year’s success. Injury luck, toll of long previous postseason runs, and the core starting to show a little age…formula for a disappointing follow-up.
Stick a fork in ‘em.
No Kittle is a significant blow for the Niners today. He’s been their best player this season, and only Warner has even been close.
They don't make radio hosts better than Tom Tolbert. Grew up listening to him and was privileged enough to be a co-worker at KNBR for nine years. Wouldn't have missed today's final "take it away, Dirk" for anything. Man, what a run.
