Such inspiring courage & a story that deserves wider circulation & reverence as we work to beat back—yet again—the terrible descendants of the exact same corruption & bigotry that she faced more than a century ago.
It’s more insidious than just enjoying cruelty, it looks like part of a dumb white nationalist agenda to deter immigration by making life impossible for immigrants. They’re changing people’s status willy-nilly just to detain & deport them. Detention is punishment designed to force deportation.
The administration’s overconfidence is so high it’s inevitable they’ll overlook some basic precautions somewhere. Given Iran is boxed in with no other options, they are likely to strike back in a devastatingly simple way. I just hope the loss of life can be minimized.
It’s bitterly disappointing, as I put a LOT of time, $$, & effort into getting him elected.
AND—he needs to *stay* a Dem if we are to have any hope of flipping control of the Senate.

Haven’t set foot in a Target since last January and will not return. Their capitulation on DEI initiatives and allowing ICE-CBP to arrest & abuse their employees & customers convinced me that it’s NOT a good place to spend my $$.

This treatment of people (citizens and not) during “investigation,” (Kavanaugh) stops, arrests, detainment, release or deportation is an administration POLICY based on CRUELTY to dissuade resistance and immigration. It’s unconstitutional and it has to STOP.

Feeling totally crushed-furious-bewildered-agitated since news about Iran dropped. It’s like, he’s gonna do whatever the hell he wants, no matter how stupid, pathetic, expensive, illegal or inane, then dare us to figure out how to stop him. Secretary of State of Texas did not update state-level precinct maps online after DECEMBER gerrymandering. The state redrew the lines, then sent Dallas County residents to the wrong places to vote.
That 60% didn’t include 95% of the Election Day vote.

I empathize with need to vent bc 🍊👺 is a vile, lying POS criminal. Yet, reasons for his support are complex. I’m close to a supporter; they were molested at 15, have ADHD, 1 term in college, been duped by other con men. I’m clear where I stand, yet can’t blame them for trauma & disordered thinking.
