Yesterday, I went to The Museum of the City of New York to check out “He Built This City: Joe Macken’s Model”, a full scale model of New York City. I wish you were able to walk around the entirety of the table holding the model, but this might be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in my life.

While i'm sad Maestro Man didn't make the final 6 for the Robot Master Design contest, the six that did make it are awesome.

I think at this point I'm rooting for Cactus Man to win; he was my second choice during the voting, and the concept is incredibly creative. Best of luck to all the finalists!

I respect that, especially as a fan of video game series such as Street Fighter, which also had some rocky beginnings, but I think it is important for this game in and of itself to be fun for me to recommend it, and Nindroids just isn't imo.

Between losing multiple lives due to the isometric view point being difficult to see, the poor quality of the new voiceover, and the subpar level design, I am shocked that a game of this poor quality has the Ninjago name attached to it. I really hope Shadow of Ronin is better.

I'm also quite appalled at the voice work done for this game. There's an entirely new cast for the characters compared to the show, and despite some big-name VAs, the voice direction was atrocious; everyone sounded so flat and lifeless. What happened here?

Ninjago Nindroids is an absolutely awful video game. The developers tried to mix the isometric viewpoint of LEGO Battles Ninjago with the casual action/platforming of the other LEGO games, but not only does the level design suck, it only covers 5 of the 8 episodes of Ninjago S3: Rebooted!

Humorously, I think some of these fan-made levels in Rayman 1's engine are better than some of the official levels, especially when compared to Rayman's New Levels 😓

That said, I did notice quite a lot of repeat level design choices, and it's clear which fans actually knew level design lol.

If I had a New York City Subway fare for every train-related game in today's Indie World, I'd have $6.00, it's weird that it happened twice.

Me too, and they only heavily marketed the last two imo (Shadow of Ronin and the Movie Video Game). It seems as though LEGO prefers video games to be based on existing properties.

Selfishly, I'd love a Skywalker Saga type game of the 15 seasons of the OG show, but I don't think that'll happen lol

The one thing I will give the Ninjago Movie Video Game is that it brought back pretty much every character from Seasons 1-7. Those bonus dungeons where you fought the previous villains were awesome fan service.

Pretty much everything else was terrible.

With the 15th anniversary of LEGO Ninjago, I decided to go back and beaten the main Ninjago video games that I hadn't played before this, with this being the first of three.

The only one I had beaten before this was The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame and it's...not good.

I don't think this is a game that most people would enjoy that much, as most of my enjoyment came from playing a video game about one of my favorite cartoon shows, but I did have a better time than I was expecting at least.
