One win above expectation!
One win above expectation!
I don't know what the cards I like say about me anymore, but I put some of them in this thing. Certainly I have become more of a Temur mage as of late.
Well I did my best to help. I guess there is no escaping 5-4 Lessons. GL HF.
I also think it's possible RB Monument is just great now with Cool But Rude, but I don't know its matchup spread at all, and it would take a ton of work so IDK that I would register it. It's nice that it can play good cheap removal for Prowess though.
The printing of Leatherhead makes playing Lessons very undesirable and will make Landfall more popular. At the same time, the uptick in the popularity of Prowess makes me want to avoid playing playing Landfall or Prowess itself.
I would play Spellementals. Good vs. Prowess, good vs. Landfall.
If your goal is to go 5-4 I think Lessons is a great choice
I'm eagerly awaiting your "ease of rooting for" tier list among US grinders.
Sorry Carmen that is a trademark of the SystemMagic twitch stream and Greg specifically. To appease our crack team of lawyers, you can simply make GW Midrange Creature decks extremely broken in standard. Pleasure doing business with you.
Many people have been asking me questions about the Spellementals deck The Boulder played to a 72% winrate at the PT. If you want to know of all our secrets for $20 see the below deck guide:

Anyone have Toronto restaraunt recommendation? Momofuku closed and that was my go-to for years when I played events here.
PAUL'S DAILY DRAFT
I went 1-5 in draft at #PTECL after registering maybe the best standard deck in the history of the Pro Tour. If I'm going to keep trying to win at the top level I have no choice but to really do everything I can to finally get good at limited.
Many such cases. (Toronto?)
Wow our team fucking crushed and I requalified for the pro tour - let's get this train rolling... See you in Las Vegas for PTSOS!!!
Standard finally appears to be..... Good?
We'll see. Smart money is on a Jason resurgence in MLK.
THE BOULDER HAS A 72.6% CONSTRUCTED WINRATE WITH IZZET SPELLEMENTALS!
#TheBoulder #PTECL
2-1 with the classic 4c Rares archetype. #PTECL
Some would not. But personally I would yes.
Preview of the next two days
For many years I have said that any Pro Tour where my team plays multiple distinct decks I consider a personal failure. For this Pro Tour, for the first time ever, we succeeded.
Nobody in magic easier to root for than @tristan-mtg.bsky.social!
I am excited to fly to Richmond where it is literally 55 degrees warmer than it is in MSP right now!
Truly this is one of your wisest posts Zoe.

Teams have limited slots. Even Sanctum has this since it seems like the team usually hires some number of non-marginalized gender individuals. How do you go about picking between two different players competing for those slots? I would say "hire the people you think will be the best teammates."
I feel that what you said just fundamentally does not contradict what I said. The fact that testing is more than the sum of its parts does not make the initial inputs equal. I also think figuring out level of contribution is a somewhat important problem in the real world.
I think you are a hater. If you want to take a collaborative view of this question, I claim It is possible to rank contributions of different people by impact. The people who contribute the most on average across PTs for each format are the best.
I am somewhat worried that if you count sources in this manner it leads to a mana base that isn't very reliable when you don't draw Barrels or need to use it as removal. That is to say: It's optimistic. I don't know how to express this idea mathematically though.
I just think Azula is kind of a classic sealed card. I also like it more when I have 4 mana Doom Blades to spend the Firebending mana on, and I would maybe want the 3rd once I have two Azula.
I was staring at the pool. I think I would play 0-1 white cards and substantially more black cards. I feel like the amount of power the white adds is just quite low and I am perfectly happy to play 2 Azulas and a few other mid black carss.
