Thank you very much and good question ! The ship is moving in the world but the camera is stuck behind the player, so when he moves or turns the camera follows π
I played a bit to change the aspect of the world, and discover the 3D aspect of #godot ! Was not easy but I find the mode 7 look very pleasing, what do you think ? β΅οΈ

You are right, itβs simple for now, but it could be fun to add wind management also ! Will look into it π¨
I did not tried it yet ! But yeah I will definitely experiment some things with the sea, thatβs the next step π
Just created a new ship sprite for my game! β΅οΈ Had a blast working on the sail animations to make them feel natural. What do you think? #gamedev #pixelart #indiegame
Made an update for Seamless Seas, mostly bug fixes, this should be the final Jam version π
Don't hesitate to check the game if you want to try this version (link in bio)

Thank you very much ! Very happy with the results π
Congrats for those results ! Do you think of pushing the game a bit further ?
And this is the final results of my #GMTK jam participation, really proud of this ranking in creativity π
I clearly think that Iβll work a bit more on the game to at least present a final jam version (without the bugs and better code in general)
NAUTICAL THINGS MENTIONED LET'S GOOOOOOOO but seriously this is an original idea executed well
Hey I'm the dev behind the game, thx a lot for sharing it here, loved your game too !
Made my first game alone this weekend for the GMTK, it's about navigating the vast ocean by drawing your own maps to avoid dangers β΅οΈπΊοΈ
Please check it out and rate it if you can !
