Reminds me of an old WCW quip.
Tony Schiavone: "Goldberg's on the cover of that magazine, along with the headline - Why is Wrestling So Hot Right Now?"
Without missing a beat, Bobby Heenan: "Because you don't get run-ins in golf."

I genuinely think 80's cartoon 'DINOSAUCERS' might have the funniest intro ever.
The premise. The NAME. The singer belting out the name. The earnestness with which the kid says "They were called... Dinosaucers" that accompanies the reveal. A bad guy called GENGHIS REX. WHO GETS CALLED BOSSASAUR.
Kind of like Highlander, which is all about Scottish clans and such, and he's the one actually Scottish marquee level actor in it, and he plays a Spaniard.
Bill Paxton is my GUY.
There's a really good film he directed and starred in called Frailty that Powers Boothe is in as well. Recommend checking it out if you've not seen it.
I'm sorry, *WHAT* Securities Head???
Thank you for this!
I've been updating the entrance themes in Fire Pro Wrestling World, and had no idea what to give her lmao
Here is a band called Haggard Cat with a song called 'Bone Shaker' which has a very rad video.
Most of the more recent bands I like don't really qualify (not on purpose, I *want* them to be bigger!), I just mentioned those two as they're UNDENIABLY huge.
I looked it up and the first LP album sold over 3 times as much as Billy's biggest album, lol
The funny thing is, even if you don't look overseas, he's still talking shit.
Obviously 'rock' is a big umbrella term, but the likes of Linkin Park & MCR became huge long after the Pumpkins popularity waned. And there's plenty other rock bands that DIDN'T stop being huge as well lmao.
I mean, I remember from way back when on Twitter, it's hardly ever been a secret, has it?
I literally saw Dan's post and thought:
"Give the people what they want. And by people, I mean Gem."
Oh some of the casting in The Return is NUTS.
Also now I can say fully what I meant!
When those two first aired as one big episode, the credits sequence from the first episode wasn't there, it was just the one from episode 2.
As a closer for the start of The Return, I think that Roadhouse scene has tremendous "We're so fucking back" energy.
And you might ask "But why did you make the horse shit, then have Snake roll in it to begin with?"
Because I wanted to see if a funny codec call came from it. That one didn't (like in MGS2 when you get called if that guy pisses on Raiden) should have been a sign something was wrong with MGSV.
So did I the first time tbf! (accursed time differences, etc)
You're in for a fucking treat though.
I do think those first two are made to be watched together.
When they first aired, those two were both one big long episode, and I *think* some of the scenes late first episode/early second might have been in a different order, but I also might be Mandela Effecting myself.

Long story short, Iβm losing my current housing situation this week, and my current job also decided to furlough me indefinitely as well. Any bit you can give to help pay rent and secure my bills until I can find new work is appreciated. Please share as well!

Oooh, you just starting it?
Incidentally, the newest comment that reminded me about it again was a nice one, but still.
I don't see how it's possible to see the video, see the title, and not just think "Ah yes, he's saying that an in-game currency you have to spend real money to get *is* horseshit, very droll" or whatever.
The 'Like/Dislike' ratio on the video is pretty much 50/50.
That there's still comments that find it funny is nice, but again, it baffles me that anyone could possible be angry about a silly 18 second video that I barely put any thought into. I genuinely forgot I put it up until years later, lmao
My YouTube is little more than an archive of my Fire Pro and old 2K stuff. I barely promote it.
That video is the only one that consistently gets interaction. And it's either people who get the joke, or people enraged that an 18 second video *doesn't* reveal how to get free MB coins.
About 10 years ago, when the ability to save footage from what you'd just done in a console game was still kind of a novelty, I recorded myself in MGSV: The Phantom Pain making my horse shit, then making Snake roll in the shit, and put it on YouTube. I named the vid 'mb coins' after the in-game VC.
can't wait for the big shocking twist at the end of the new silent hill where it's revealed the town isn't haunted and that's just what fifers are like
Once his in-ring career wound up, he landed a few roles - pretty much all ones like this, a huge guy that the main guy fights or whatever.
To make it funnier, the guy in the first picture is Tom Magee - the powerlifter that Vince was briefly convinced would be the next Hogan because Bret Hart did such a good job carrying him.
Flashback scene (1 of 3) of Abe Simpson talking to his son Homer, and Barney Gumble. He's saying: "I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was.
Flashback scene (2 of 3) of Abe Simpson talking to his son Homer, and Barney Gumble. He's saying: "Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me."
Flashback scene of Abe Simpson pointing ominously at his son Homer, and Barney Gumble, who are both out of shot. He's saying: "It'll happen to you."
I'll also point out it's hilarious Billy Corgan is blaming the CIA for changing music trends, considering the reason the images below get memed so much is because it's a timelessly true sentiment, and it also happens to be the one Simpsons episode Auld Bill Pumpkins was in.
I was trying to think of a good pun, but sadly all I have is 'Mortal Kombat and the Infinite Sadness'.
She did dish out some beefy kicks, as well as power moves. Quite a short-lived career sadly (IIRC a combination of injuries and real life stuff). Shame, I really liked her.
