Great painting. Are you selling prints by any chance?

Met up with my good friends today for just some hanging out. Watching TV and chatting mainly. Normally we drink a lot of alcohol at these things but today I stayed completely sober. I had just as much fun tbh.
Is it just me or are a lot more people sticking their hands/arms out the window whilst driving these days? Iβve noticed it a lot more on UK roads recently.
Long shot, but anyone throwing away an old electric toothbrush? I need the electric motor for a project
What about district heating instead of individual heat pumps for homes?
Iβd do it even if all I got was the free food
Great night at the football in Swansea. Entertaining match and crowd full of energy, despite a 4 - 1 hammering by Italy. Excited to see the Wales team at the Euros this summer.
βWhat sort of person do you want to be?β
Thoughts and prayers
You can definitely go on a public tour
Is there a German word yet for the separation anxiety felt when away from the 3D printer for a day or so? I donβt like the thought of not being able to design and make *exactly* what I need at any time.
I also designed and printed this personalised food bowl for my sisterβs dog. I am going to coat it in food-safe resign.
I hecking love having a 3D printer to make things like this. Also hecking love the geniuses that can design things like this. Itβs a case with a retractable and lockable cover. Hereβs the model btw makerworld.com/models/1325572
Iβm not concluding anything, it just seems like the weight of evidence points towards grid instability due to high renewables penetration in the grid. ChatGPT seems to provide a decent summary of the information available on the web
I thought this just might be a conspiracy theory among my pro nuclear colleagues, but no: it looks like an over dependence on renewables really did play a Major contributing factor to the grid destabilisation in Spain and Portugal recently.
Iβm becoming addicted to very spicy food again
I would but my old 3D broke down
Waiting for my new 3D printer to arrive like:
My stock portfolio has risen considerably in value today (Iβve put more money in).
Me, annoyed that my computer game character canβt sprint for more than a three second burst
I thought Bangladesh is building some nuclear plants?
Me whenever I go on electricitymaps.com to see which country is leading the way in transitioning to a low-carbon economy
What about a potato salad?
What about chips with some salad on the side?
Getting stressed with my 3D printer (Ender 3 V2) and Iβm getting to the point of wanting to chuck it out and get a new one. It stopped talking to OctoPrint a while back. Now I canβt seem to get my models to print in the right place. Not sure if itβs the Firmware or something with my slicer.
Great article here from @georgemonbiot.bsky.social on how we can make food supply in the UK more secure. Relax the ridiculous standards producers require for flour and other inputs. Switch to a mostly plant based diet. Reduce the reliance on fertilisers.
I hear making charcoal is one of the most boring jobs in existence!
Unless surplus biomass is pyrolized to charcoal, which is stable for centuries. One person working full time can sequester a ton per week this way, off of ~100 hectare sustainably, or roughly the carbon budget of a family of 4 (US). Bit of a stretch but not impossible!
Can it be the nuclear renewal party of England *and* Wales please? Concern over climate change is why I originally studied nuclear engineering at university and went to work in the field
