I am blown away by the sheer technical precision evinced by everyone involved in that halftime show, both in front of and behind the camera, and even more impressed they didn’t let the effort in the way of making it so goddamn fun to watch.

The idea that people could claim power “over” people but choose not to—for whatever reason—is such an antidote for the garbage we see in the news every day. Plus, that bromance with Trevor was just plain fun. This might be the Marvel show for the non-typical Marvel fan, and I love that.
I kind of can’t stop thinking about WONDER MAN. Like, I just finished it yesterday and I already want to watch the whole thing again. Simon is just so…sweet? Like, all he wants to do is be a big screen hero, even though he has super powers and could be an actual superhero. I find that so refreshing.
I’m so thrilled about this award! The documentary was a beautiful tribute to an absolutely legendary composer.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II gave a beautiful performance as Simon, in particular. Not only was his bromance chemistry with Ben Kingsley on point, he was so open emotionally. We don’t get to enjoy that in Marvel characters enough.
And I’ve just finished the series. Very, very enjoyable. The story was very heart-driven, and the performances were all impeccable. Would gladly watch a dozen more short series like this.
Just to inject five minutes of normalcy, I have to say that I am absolutely loving Ben Kingsley in WONDER MAN. It still blows my mind that Marvel ever convinced an actor of his caliber to join the MCU.
Why do I get the feeling that the new Melania movie is a scam like in the plot of The Producers?
