The Coraline audiobook has been keeping me company lately, and I couldn’t resist starting a spooky little fall-inspired drawing because of it 🗝️ Here’s a sneak peak at some of the details #WIP

Hyper fixation but make it an idea for a PB title I just keep saying over and over again

Absolute sincere advice: Print your project out at least once, and read it out loud at least once. You will find SO MANY things to fix and smooth out. You'll hear repetition and inconsistencies. If you print it out, the book will be more real in your head.

Brier Marilyn is an author-illustrator who balances carefully coloring inside the lines with letting her artwork spill beyond them. She creates stories that blend humor and heart, with sunlit storytelling and illustrations that not only burst with color but are packed with hidden surprises.
