In APHA v NIH, filed in April, in response to abrupt defunding of NIH grants, Judge Young ruled that the termination of some of the NIH grants was illegal & ordered that they be restored.

Even then, asking the courts to not even investigate the matter is suspicious as hell. They probably are guilty of exploiting multiple teachers in similar ways or maybe even something worse if they’re panicking over the state even looking into the issue.
It’s one thing to claim a “minister” doesn’t uphold the values of your sect, it’s an entirely different thing to fire a teacher for reporting all their worked hours when you want to exploit younger employees for unpaid labor.

..of the woods yet though: the attorney general is notorious for throwing out signatures for policy he doesn’t agree with and will have until July 22nd to report whether we’re short on valid signatures. We’ll then have 10 DAYS to collect the necessary signatures, so if you haven’t had the chance..
The final signatures are being scanned in, but if our reported numbers are accurate then we are projected to have SUCCEEDED in collecting the signatures needed to against OH SB-1 as the first all-volunteer group to achieve a referendum under Ohio’s most restrictive petition process!
