It would be a gamble for sure, to take the team to the next level. It would need to be a possession based coach (which are in short supply / raw - Fabregas, Giraldez, Palladino, De Zerbi) or a tactically flexible coach (Conte, Inzaghi). Can’t imagine our hierarchy are competent or ambitious enough.

He’s totally isolated. Exactly how we played with Isak (who had more mobility) - wide players hugging the touchline 20 yds away from him. No creativity bursting from CM. He’s persistently playing back to goal holding the ball up when his strength is on the half turn with close fast interplay.

Conte, Inzaghi, De Zerbi, Raffaele Palladino, Claudio Giraldez, Fabregas. A better than decent possession based manager would be lovely.

Yeah stats are as good as Bakayoko in a much lower performing team. With 20 g/a I think he’s had involvement in around 38% of Go Aheads total no. of goals in the league.

@editkev.football is it not a little odd that not a single epl club has been linked with Oliver Antman? His stats are really good. Fits the profile of any high intensity pressing team. Tall, quick, good technique. No doubt go to AFCB, after they sell Semenyo for £70m. Wouldn’t be a bad NUFC option.
