The Tower above houses a giant bell. A faraway city can be seen from the terrace, as a Griffin guards the bell beam.
A secret room with four chandeliers features many tombs. There, a lady-like demon with bat wings floats above a marble coffin.
+ My major project for this 2026 first quarter has been canceled, therefore I am now open for work - preferably under a part-time workframe, preferably gamedev.
+ Tilesets (+anim) & sprites very welcome!
+ New itch tiles are finally coming, too, but I'm looking for a structured gamedev project.

A topdown pixel art remake of Ruin Valley, from Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Many ancient structures can be seen emerging from the steep cliffsides and lush tropical vegetation: temples, tall palaces and mysterious pathways and towers. A moltitude of pokemon and trainers can be seen around. To the east, the ocean with tall waves and a jagged coastline. Water and fossil pokemon live there. At the center of the valley, the legendary pokemon trainer Red is entering the Dotted Hole ruins. Peculiar rock formation resembling regi pokemon are scattered throughout the environment.

An animated top down pixel art diorama of a Haunted Mansion main hall. The gothic architecture is the perfect playground for the many ghost pokemon inhabiting the abandoned house. Right in the middle of the foyer, a megaevolved Chandelure welcomes unfortunate visitors with its blue flames flickering gently as the moonlight seeps through a hole in the roof, lighting the ruined pavement in a cold light. A solitary mimikyu joins the foyer, dragging its disguise across the western wing passage. A duskull levitates below the balcony, disappearing through rich, old and dusty drapes. The East Wing corridor is blocked by Gourgeis and Pumpkaboo, with their dim, warm lanterns mimicking the many candles and chandeliers scattered around the mansion. Could they be the very ones lighting them up?
The monumental staircase leads to the first floor, were the balcony oversees the whole entrance room, forming a U-shape. To the left, leading to the western wing first floor, a Lampent shines atop an archway. To the East, a Dusclops waits in the shadows. At the very center of the balcony, Gengar is doing all kinds of silly faces, laughing at the viewer, right before disappearing. A litwick has found its nest in a small alcove by the two-story wooden doorway arch. Onboth sides of the doorway, many paintings with rich frames are hung. To the left, a Mismagius is showcasing its psychic powers to Misdreavus by taking control of a huge painting of Agatha, the famous elite 4. The shaking painting's eyes shine briefly in an ominous light. On the second story of the archway a Dusknoir briefly appears. An Ariados can be seen coming down its web through the gothic archs. Under the dark roof atop the whole scene, Haunter and Gastly are playing hide and seek. A huge hole in the roof lets the moonlight rays enter the Hall. Through the very same opening, zubats and a drifloon can be seen flying.

The crew can be spotted all around: Sanji is looking at a watermelon crate, possibly thinking of new recipes. Tony Tony Chopper is strolling happily down the staircase in the deck. Zoro is taking a nap at the bottom of the main mast. Nico Robin is relaxed, leaning on the main central deck railing and watching the waves, with a book by her side. Nami is looking towards the horizon from the bow deck where Usopp can be found as well, busy with ship's reparations. Luffy is sitting atop the sheep figurehead, with his arms stretched, hugging the giant watermelon he is enthusiastically eating.

At one point I added ship fast travel using the giant macaw, but I scrapped it. It was kinda unnecessary. The overworld was easily navigable without it

Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.
I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

The major breakthrough with this update is that I was able to web build for Godot C#! This is something that hasn't been possible in Godot 4.0 (and still isn't in the official release), but its thanks to the work of Raul Santos and some of the other folks on the Godot github that made this possible!
