I’ve been waiting for anything from this studio for about 6 years now. Better shut them down because they didn’t recreate Fortnite or whatever. This whole industry’s obsession with live service fucking sucks. With rare exceptions, I just play old shit, and it isn’t just for nostalgia at this point.

Better than the nothing we’ve gotten from this franchise for the last decade or two.

Your recent posts about this game/series has me interested. I know I dont have time to play right now but it’s something I’ll be keeping an eye on. That said, I have to ask was that costume actually in the game? I dont know a whole lot about this Tira bird madam but it looks pretty dead on accurate.

This is genuinely the most excited I’ve been about FF weirdly enough. I should’ve started with 1 years ago instead of jumping into 7 and being like “ok? Only an hour+ in. It’s definitely interesting so far. The story focus feels weirdly ahead of its time. That leveling is neat? You really gotta play by its own set of weird rules. I guess they were going for something. Maybe the same category of “odd NES sequels” like Mario, Castlevania, and Zelda.

Thinking about grabbing it on PC/Steam Deck. Always seemed neat to me but by the time I acquired a PlayStation (2000 or so?) I just never thought to play the thing. But yeah feeling a need for this kind of experience right now. And since you’re my go-to FF fella, figured I’d ask about it.

When it came out in early access I played it for a few weeks and had a great time, but I put it down so I could wait for the full release. All I can say is it feels better, plus it's obviously more complete. Anyway, started a new game and the whole thing is reminding me why I love video games.

I have a lot of love in my heart for Hades 2. This game is making me so happy.
