EU Commission rejects new abortion financing proposal, points to existing fund Countries may need to amend an existing fund to use it to support women who wish to travel to access abortion within the EU.

Good news from the European Commission. While they did not approve a new fund for abortion, they expanded use of an existing fund, which can also help cover travel costs. The My Voice My Choice campaign is pleased, saying their priority was always “getting results for women, not the legal form."

Who takes notes and does the dishes for the revolution is a political matter. Look around you at your organizing meetings. If women are always the ones keeping minutes, assign a man. If women are always volunteering to get shit going, assign some men.
