Justice for Izabela! A Polish court has sentenced three doctors to prison over the 2021 death of Izabela from sepsis during a 22-week miscarriage, after doctors refused to help. "This was a case involving extraordinary negligence, a pure disregard for the most basic and fundamental medical duties."
Between 2009 and 2023, campaigners in El Salvador secured the release of dozens of women imprisoned for abortion-related charges, miscarriages, stillbirths and obstetric emergencies. But now, under the countryโs "state of emergency" imposed by dictator Nayib Bukele, progress is unravelling.

Good news from the European Commission. While they did not approve a new fund for abortion, they expanded use of an existing fund, which can also help cover travel costs. The My Voice My Choice campaign is pleased, saying their priority was always โgetting results for women, not the legal form."
There are fears that the European Commission could, this week, reject the initiative aimed at guaranteeing access to safe abortion across the EU. The โMy Voice, My Choiceโ campaign is mounting a last-ditch lobbying effort.

A story as old as time. Man doesn't have the career he thinks he deserves and decides the problem is women and the 'feminisation' of the workplace. Its all so predictable and boring. The bit on childless women did give me a good laugh tho.
This is a brilliant interview. Love this phrase - 'I like my sovereignty'.https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2026/feb/14/tracey-emin-interview-tate-modern-regrets-smoking?utm_term=Autofeed&CMP=bsky_gu&utm_medium=&utm_source=Bluesky#Echobox=1771049992
Looks great! Is this online?
Download it also to read how Maja Gergoric and I argue that abortion is the core Croatian anti-gender issue and how it was used in the institutionalization of Croatian anti-gender movement!
Who takes notes and does the dishes for the revolution is a political matter. Look around you at your organizing meetings. If women are always the ones keeping minutes, assign a man. If women are always volunteering to get shit going, assign some men.
Many friends asking what it is like in Minnesota right now. This video-clip tells. Masked men w/ guns in ordinary places (gas stations, grocery stores, cruising streets) intimidating ordinary people & instilling fear. As a terrorism expert, I think about the logic of government instilling fear.

A black and white photo of some woods in winter. A long chainlink fence, topped with barbed wire, stretches from the rightmost corner to the horizon, following dips and hollows in the land. Along its entire length, as far as the eye can see, women are standing along the fence.
#OnThisDay, 11 Dec 1983, tens of thousands of women take part in 'reflect the base' at Greenham Common, UK.
They encircle the 9 mile fence of the nuclear missile base, tearing it down in at least one place. Hundreds of women are arrested.
