And they're done! I'm so happy with how this turned out. I'm starting to feel a little more confident in being able to produce finished illustrations in traditional media, not just studies. 😊This is watercolor + gouache., with a little bit of color pencil and pastel for final touches.

The creature has extremely long arms and legs that have dexterous digits and sharp claws, and it has a giant whip-like tail with a spiky end. Its body is mostly black in coloration, its arms and half of its tail a mid-tone yellow. Its head and belly are a blaring red, with its expanding throat having peculiar patterns that are vibrant and striking, almost like they're emulating eyes.
