I started a few W. Amplexicaulis from seed this year. The 6 wk old plants are very happy right now in their band pots and will go in the ground in May. I like the white ones, but to my knowledge we have no native populations near us.

Wow! Wonderful, Kat. Here, they always seem to grow together, from +-1400m all the way down to 700m. Wildly abundant. And so far, neither species seems bothered by the hotter, drier conditions now, probably because they create their own damp micro-climate. Greetings from the windy WALLOWAS, Cliff
