A coronial inquest into Marjorie's death can help bring her family closure and help expose the appalling treatment of trans people in the prison system.
Marjorie Harwood, a trans woman, died when she refused care for a chronic health condition after allegedly being beaten and raped by five men in prison.
At the time, the coroner dismissed the allegations. Now, new evidence has led her mother to renew calls for a coronial inquest into her death.
Nicholls doesn’t care about evidence. He’s pushing this anti-trans agenda to appeal to the far right.
Now it’s up to us.

His own review found that denying trans youth healthcare ‘carries risks in terms of the legal, ethical and social considerations’.
He ignored it and announced he will continue blocking access to care until at least 2031.
A 2024 independent review of the Qld Children's Gender Service found it provided a high level of care.
Nicholls ignored it, blocked access to care for trans youth, and commissioned his own review.
Qld Health Minister Tim Nicholls is ignoring his own report.
He couldn't make the facts fit his ideology. Now he's just ignoring them.
For many trans young people, gender affirming care is life-changing, and often life-saving, healthcare.
But the Queensland government is blocking improvements and slashing funding from the Queensland Children's Gender Service (QCGS).
