Had the privilege of being featured on Litelok’s Every.Day.Ride where I talk about all things bike commuting, bike security, and racing.

Another awesome GCN video about the perceived safety of autos and how the media portrays cyclists.

Cargobikelife.com is quickly becoming a central source for all things related to not only cargo bikes, but bikes-for-transportation as a whole.
The website is just a few months old, but already has almost 300 registered users, 272 individual threads, and almost 1000 messages.
Check it out.
Aberdeen the black retriever and our new puppy Newton (a baby black retriever) face the camera in the cargo area of my Bullitt e-cargo bike. Newton is small but looks nothing like a chihuahua.
Maybe they will care when I have two dogs? The little guy could pass for a chihuahua maybe?
"Mismatched chargers and post-sale tampering are almost wholly to blame for the negative press that the electric bike sector has endured" #ebike

We are fortunate enough to have the freedom of choosing how we want to get to our son to school. Bike, light rail, walk, and sometimes even drive.
When given the option, my son prefers to be in front on his shotgun seat versus being strapped to the back on a Yepp seat.
I like this idea. I’ll get working on some of the ones that come to mind.
Here a start, another video from GCN about road rage against cyclists youtu.be/wmUP8OH50E0?...
I’ve really been loving what GCN has been doing with their YouTube platform in discussing road rage, cargo bikes, and motonormativity in their recent videos.
This one, is one of their best “Carspiracy”

Maybe after the $500 billion in AI investment, we can ask it to solve our healthcare crisis.

Pedestrian bridges have their place, but they often symbolize the dominance of highways and infrastructure that prioritize cars. In some cases, they look amusement park queue lines gone vertical. There is lost opportunity to have a street level experience and connection to your community.
The vast majority of aging adults believe they'll never have to give up driving. They might not have a choice.
Not just bikes but also light rail. Tempe, AZ.
I get I’m the 1 out of 100s of employees who chooses to bike to work year around in my district but it really goes to show you how in bedded car culture is in our society. Even the cars struggled to get in today but…
We're told "safety is a shared responsibility," but reckless, distracted motorists make that impossible.
At some point, we must target the design enabling bad behavior, because relying on people to do the right thing isn't working.
“Yeah, I’m not supposed to park," Amber Sandlin said.

Around me, in the PHX suburbs, it’s been like this since before the pandemic. Almost every school district that hasn’t given up on buses has “drivers wanted” banners.
I prioritize safety over speed when I’m on a bike. Which means most trips lead me through neighborhoods and that’s perfectly fine with me. But I still advocate for protected bike lanes.
@bikeshopgirl.bsky.social this something I’ve wondered and given your experience. What are some of the biggest challenges with operating a “niche” bike shop? I’ve been thinking about it could take to open on locally.
We have no shortage of road and mountain bike shops here in Phoenix. What we do lack are good cargo bike shops. I can’t think of any near me that have any on display/available.
