That's pretty much everything, really.

It's convinced that other people need help, and it's much more pressing for them.

Which, in some cases, yes.

But also, it's like...my turn. It's my turn to take up space and be a problem, if only so I'm less miserable OR can put a name and source to that misery.

Silly brain.

This happened a lot when I was in therapy, too.

Suddenly, I'm totally emotionally stable and can't recall a day that I've ever been anxious or depressed.

The brain and body just refuses to let me be a problem when the people who can help can actually help.

They actually felt fine yesterday, but that's only because I was supposed to have a doc appointment. (Doc was sick, so had to get rescheduled).

The body always like to pretend it's fine when I actually have the opportunity to try and get something done about it.
