Here is a selection of SFX I designed for the new enemies found in Pikmin 2: Regrown

thereβs a few additional things going on in the cave soundtrack that we couldnβt cover in the video, like there are ~30 extra variations of songs but with different mixing, instruments, and altered melodic lines.
i donβt see them rendering this soundtrack out, its too liquid and itβd take days

This cave unit in particular was designed by Atsushi Miyagi. He mentioned that because his work tends to bury his head in a PC all day long, he didn't like working on really dark areas. So he would go out of his way to have natural light break through the ceiling, like this one, and Hole of Beasts.
