I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

I've (rarely) done some independent accessibility consulting in games, but I really wish companies bringing me or anyone like me on did more than just pay me for an afternoon, as they bring me on way too late to actually change much system wise. If they really want accessibility, needs to be early!
The Tidus/Yuna precon from the Final Fantasy set is a really good beginner commander deck. So is the red/green/black Edge of Eternities commander deck. Both have very clear goals (FF is make really big creatures, EoE is direct damage from destroying your own land).

There’s several reasons that business and public figures began immediately associating WFH with laziness and slacking, one is that these are things they already believe about disabled/chronically ill folk, and they hope you do, too.

I remain convinced that 1-shot, pick-up (often GMless) RPGs remain one of the most accessible entry points into our medium. They do so much -- you can just hand to people, for them to try out on their own, like a board game. And after you play a few of them, you know enough to design your own.
