I love Kirby's Adventure but omg the lag, this game is like the Sonic Unleashed of the NES. So pretty and fun but it chugs like crazy.

I love Kirby's Adventure but omg the lag, this game is like the Sonic Unleashed of the NES. So pretty and fun but it chugs like crazy.
"There's also a super fun tower defense zombie hoard mode and I haven't even mentioned the Story mode which has so many levels with crazy lore and the game even got a DLC that is structured like a Rogue-like. There are just so many characters, customisation, playstyles and- hey why are you leaving?"
"Oh it's this sick third person shooter where you play as squid people who have weapons that shoot ink. While getting kills is still important your goal is to paint more area than the other team. For Competitive players there are also ranked modes that have "capture the flag"-style objectives."

Gameplay is as insane as the premise. It's like Sonic's Boost formula mixed with Mario Kart World's trick system turned up to 100

My highlight has to be "DENSHATTACK". That game looks utterly absurd and I love it.
Hope we get more wild and bombastic Indies like that shown in future showcases. Cozy games are great too, I just think it'd be nice to have some craziness to balance out the peaceful stuff lol

I cannot believe how good Donkey Kong Bananza is, like it's genuinely hard for me to fathom this game actually exists.
I'm probably not even that far into the game still and yet this might already be a contender for one of my favourite games of all time.
Like, they really didn't have to do that you know?
In Wii they were likely just the easiest possible stand-ins for Player 3 and 4.
Wonder already would have had a big enough roster without them.
And yet they're still here!
They're not just substitutes, they're actually a part of the group.

Like, GOOD JOB Switch 2! All that training in the gym has been paying off so much that you can even take the load off from Pokémon now that's crazy, so proud of this magnetic hunk of metal.😌

So yeah that's about it, just felt like I should give a more positive perspective on the matter. My opinions may change depending on more info and the actual release of the season but for now that's where I'm at.
So, do I think this makes the Green Ninja prophecy less special?
To some degree, yeah a little.
BUT I can also see what expanding the Lore like this allows for.
And besides, Lloyd is more than his status as the Green Ninja, even without it, he's a great Person and a great Character.
One of my favorite lore aspects from the clip we got is that Lloyd didn't get the call of the whispering forest because he never actually aged properly.
That is such a cool way to add more consequences to that decision in season 2 and integrate new lore with the old.
Now, I don't think they NEEDED the Green Ninja title, however the Elemental Master of Life is the Protector of the Whispering Forrest and it's been established that Ninjas are Protectors. That doesn't just include our main cast but also characters like Egalt and Rontu.
They have established that prior to the merge there have been other elemental masters in other realms, so with how little we and the cast knew about the other realms before Dragons Rising I can buy the existence of the Whispering Forest with prior Elemental Masters of Life.
Now that I'm allowing myself to warm up to the idea I do see what opportunities this allows for.
With this they can explore what it means to be the green Ninja beyond just the prophecy, beyond just the "final battle"
What duties this role has, what it means to be an elemental Master of Life.
Like, what does it even MEAN to be the Green Ninja beyond the prophecy and the "Final" battle?
Aside from continuing to be a Protector of Ninjago and being the Team Leader, it hasn't amounted to much.
Lloyd as a character has been explored plenty over the years but this aspect has been ignored.
