“Now is the time for peace,” he screams (in all caps). Unfortunately, he’s about to learn that sovereign nation are not like bullied school kids. God help us.
In every city & town, on town commons & sidewalks, on bridges & overpasses, by the hundreds of thousands & 2s & 3s, let us stand peacefully & boldly for what is true, loving & good for all. Let us rejoice in our common humanity & shared compassion. May all our words & actions be peaceful.

Comcast refused to deliver my email of the Sunday bulletin to two other church employees & myself. Comcast says it has a “new update” that checks for a long list of things (1st one: political content) to “protect Comcast’s reputation.” The bulletin includes the word “resistance.” Censorship, anyone?
By all means: Make the calls. Expose the lies. Stand with the vulnerable & stand up for what is right, in whatever ways you can. Also: Celebrate the good. Cultivate beauty. Nurture joy. Give thanks. There are many good and generous people in the world & they, too, merit your energy & attention.
