Big time Arrested Development mem vibes...
How? It's literally just voting to try to break or maintain a fillibuster, and your whips tell you which way. All the deal making and legislative stuff died 12 or more years ago
Before bed but, regarding Platner, given the amount of demonstratable lies he's told on the tattoo what makes you so convinced he'll keep his word on whatever pet issue you have? Do you really believe that deep down?
...and I wasn't active on this site for the tine period when Israels actions were most in the news. You are so bad faith you deserve to be played like Platner is doing, most don't, bit you do
Again you are downplaying, and it was a fairly fucking obscure podcast, not like it was Rogan. You really are willing to downplay anything.
And the retweeting a nazi and appearing on an antisemitic conspiracy theorists podcast while saying it was his favorite show? Way to downplay
It's a dangerous business, living for others and trying to make things better-if you aren't careful, and you have some success...why, you realize you can help other people...then you realize other chances...
Presiding Bishop Curryโs statement on the Iran War.

Still remember the Twitter joke from 2018 re: Michigan politics "Friends don't let friends post Mitchell polls"
I don't recall UNH being that bad, I mean I don't recall thinking it was as bad as Zogby or Mitchell...
Thus the famous commercial with then CEO (and future U of M athletic director) Dave Brandon actively apologizing for the pizza and advertising a menu overhaul
That's just good clean fun
Already started.
Hilariously, a lot of Crocketts stans *loath* (to the point they mock their misfortunes) Uncommitted...but are blind to the irony that they are acting just lime them
Talarico is at a Presbyterian seminary, which is not considered evangelical, but rather progressive mainline protestant.
If it helps, he was a Presbyterian Church USA seminarian...which is about as far as you can get from the Religious Right (except for maybe the Episcopals or ELCA)
Theres a lot I'm not going to touch and a lot to think on before I post on the TX Primary.
However, two things can be simultaneously true: I can believe that the uncounted Dallas voted would not have changed the winner for the Sen primary *but* that all votes should be counted, &to not is dangerous
I'll also say that Crockett supporters on this site called Talaricos supporters "leftists", so Talarico is somehow both simultaneously too left or too centrist depending on who you talk to.
The college Democrats in Texas disagree with you. Considering Texas hasn't elected a D since 1994, even getting genuinely close would be incredible.
I think the asshole gets off on it
That's why he was appointed, so Trump has a buffer between him and the military for that, or something like "fire on those protestors!". That way it doesn't directly come from Trump
It's good.
Also, congratulations former State Rep Raymond Smith on getting the nod in NC 3rd to challenge Greg Murphy
I want to congratulate High Point, NC Mayor Cyril Jefferson in winning the North Carolina 6th district Democratic Primary tonight. Cyril Jefferson appears to be the only elected Dem official to take a shot at a R house district vs the NC gerrymandering. Good luck Mayor Jefferson
Also, the nonservice side of the UAW is pretty diverse, it's not like their the ILA
Weirdly, the UAW, which is sadly all over this story, is highly diverse and has not bad odds at electing an African American Woman as President after Fain (I'm a particular fan of VP Laura Dickerson-Ford Division and Region 1 Director Lashawn English)
2 of those unions worked their asses off against Trump (particularly the UAW).
Corrupttion? In New Jersey? Well I never...
It was our worst loss since 1988, though that also says something about how narrow our losses were since then
