I adore compile, my husband and I spent a very lovely holiday, this summer, sitting in a brewery in Belgium playing it (when I should have been editing my novel). I bought him vol 2 for Christmas and again whiled away hours playing it. I hope you enjoy.
My audiobook kickstarter has reached 24 sign-ups, just 6 short of my holiday target!

The water of Leith between Murrayfeild and Stockbridge has been teaming with herons lately. I counted 6 on a walk a few weeks ago. They are magnificent.
Text reads: Card pulled: 9 clubs Cedric's Office: Emily dropped the pile of books on the desk. Cedric barely raised an eyebrow. "I pulled the books you asked for," She said. "The returns?" Cedric huffed. "Checked twice," Emily grinned. She had rushed through her checklist at double speed, hoping that she could steal the afternoon for herself. Yesterday, she had got the answer she had been waiting for. A more detailed story can be found free on my Patreon

Today I was brave and launched my author newsletter.
Hoping to keep everyone informed of (hopefully good) news, WIPs and bookish events.
Keeping it on the free tier, as well as my interactive RPG project that is starting on Tuesday.

Today it finally clicked. The main character's voice sounds right. Her love interest has walked in with the sufficient amount of trope laden charm. And I now get to throw them off into the abyss!
Today is a happy writing day.
For the past few weeks I have been working on a new WIP, a horror rom com. Think what if a Christmas rom com went horribly wrong!
It hasn't been working. I have written and re-written the same chapters from different perspectives, tenses, directions.
I even shook it upside down for a bit.
Good morning Womble.
I am just finishing off The most wonderful crime of the year by Ally Carter which has been delightful.
I am just starting Candlenight by Phil Rickman.
Both are research for my current WIP!
