Budgets went out to principals on Friday. South High School is cutting 1.5 million from the budget is all I know. That is a lot of teachers, support staff, counselors, and social workers salaries. The need for all those people will remain next school year.
So many Minneapolis teachers found out today that their jobs are being eliminated due to the massive cuts to public school funding. All that labor and love, poof, gone, and for what? Why can't Minneapolis fund schools like they can the cops?

Thrift stores have so many jackets and it gets too easy to collect a bunch of different looks. With all the swings in temperature and precipitation in MN, the "perfect" coat doesn't exist, but having like 6 that might possibly work on any given day is the way. Also vests. And sweaters for layering.
