Onfimโs drawing of himself on horseback as a warrior defeating an enemy.
Two of Onfimโs works. On the left is a copy of a passage from the Book of Psalms he did for schoolwork. On the right is an apparently autobiographical depiction of a monster labeled with โI am a wild beast.โ
Some more spelling practice by Onfim with some human figures who have round heads and varying numbers of fingers on their big hands.
Onfimโs writing practice accompanied by 7 little people in his particular drawing style, who tend to have very big hands with many fingers.
Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.
I love that even without the sound on you know exactly which part of the song they're on
Being a primary school librarian has really turned me away from the notion of "book smell = good" because you wouldn't believe the kind of smells books can develop after having been read by 50 kids that don't really make sure whether anything will get on that book or not...
Hereโs the thing about folks speedrunning the creative process with AI:
I could go to the beach every morning and put a grain of sand in a cup. Theyโd take their cup to the beach and fill it one day; but the point isnโt to have a cup of sand. Itโs to fill my life with a thousand trips to the beach.
Yeah I really want to know her "solution" for tourette's that could be equated to wearing a diaper... cause with her ailment the solution clearly also wasn't "just tell your body not to do it"
A panel from dungeon meshi that changed my life
Hope they'll get one soon! From what I've read I like it a lot :)
It's gorgeous! I randomly saw it in a bookstore window while on holiday and it sold me on cover and title alone ๐ hadn't heard about it before

Guess what ๐
I stand before you once again with a very specific request for book recommendations, this time for an M/M romance between a king and knight, ideally where the king is already a bit older (in his 50s or so) ๐ ideally also with a strong plot ๐ก
I really hope that exist somewhere ๐
Oh hell yeah!! This is gonna be so cool!
Hopefully I'll find time to voice act for other projects more often, I really like it. I just somehow found myself with a bunch of hobbies that all take up a lot of time โ ๏ธ
For the first time I get to voice act in someone else's project!
If you like dark sci-fi I'd highly recommend Syntax. It's a great show and I had so much fun playing Lysila for them!
"Separated after an attack, Rena has to reunite with her companions before they can focus on rescuing Renaโs sister. The Crow is planning something big and it appears the burden falls upon our six companions, even if it might shatter everything they thought they understood about the world."
The typography is by me. I fought tooth and nails against it, especially to find colours that agree to be legible, and Iโm still not 100% happy but, as they say, done is better than perfectโฆ Thank you so much to @crimsonycrime.bsky.social crime for the help and feedback <3
Graphic with a pale blue background. In the middle is the cover of the book A Blazing Bond by Audrey Martin. It shows a girl with tan skin and long brown hair in a beige dress with a green vest looking to the left. Behind her are red to pink smoke clouds and yellow lightning coming up from the bottom. Text above the cover reads โA Blazing Bond โ Book 2 of the Heart Pyreโ and below the cover reads โreleases on 16.04.26โ
A Blazing Bond will be released on April 16th!
I am so happy with how the cover turned out, created once again by the wonderful @antlerclad.bsky.social ! I honestly canโt wait to hold a physical copy of it in my hand and put it next to its predecessor!

Cover reveal for book two in the Heart Pyre series, A Blazing Bond, coming soon, probably already tomorrow ๐
The book will be out in April and I'm so excited to finally see this book come to life! I've been working on it for so long and honestly, I can't wait to finally start working on book 3.
If someone would make Speculoos in that shape I'd go feral
Oh man that really sucks ๐ฌ๐ฌ good luck for the hunt!

I always thought I had a very robust immune system. Got humbled hard once I started working in a primary school โ ๏ธ
I've found that the older I get the more boring and close to real life my dreams are getting ๐ i miss dreaming about magical and weird stuff
Who could ever be truly angry about a surprise kitten?!
Oh Gus ๐ why chanel all those braincells into comitting evil?
Completely unrelated to any TV shows that might currently be very popular, if I were to watch hockey during the olympics, which teams are the most interesting to keep up with?
I think it's also much better to outsource proofreading cause as a writer you are much too used to the manuscript that you don't even see the errors anymore.
But also YAY! Congrats on finishing!
Oh yeah I'm also at this part of editing right now ๐ we'll get through it ๐ช
