drew this parody gadsden flag six years ago, and it seems it’s still relevant as the bootlicking has only increased.

3-panel comic. (1) [Three small arthropods on ocean floor.] ARTHROPOD 1: Now that we’re multicellular, what are your plans? I’m gonna evolve little legs and swim around with them! ARTHROPOD 2: I’m gonna evolve sharp pincers and use them to crunch stuff! ARTHROPOD 3: I’m gonna evolve glands to make string from my butt and use it to construct elaborate geometric nets hundreds of times my size to catch other animals. (2) [Silence] (3) ARTHROPOD 1: *Dude.* ARTHROPOD 2: Can you *please* just be normal about this? ARTHROPOD 3: *What??!*

Climate issues are kitchen table issues | Colorado Newsline
Political candidates that neglect to include climate change in their messaging and policy platforms are making a mistake.
Commentary: Messaging from political candidates is increasingly focused on affordability, leaving some issues, like climate change, in the dust. Yet political candidates who neglect to include climate change in their policy platforms are making a mistake.

OPINION: Where Cities are Investing, Vision Zero is Working — Streetsblog USA
As the Vision Zero Network turns 10, it's time to look at what works and what is achievable (a lot!).
"For the most part, [effective Vision Zero projects are] unsexy, low-cost improvements — adding speed humps, lowering speed limits, improving street lighting . . . The challenge now is to scale up what works and to prioritize safety in design and policy decisions as the rule, not the exception."

How to fix I-270: Designers offer plan with toll lanes, no widening and a boost to mass transit
All-toll lanes, green berms to absorb pollution, and greatly increased mass transit could be an alternative to widening I-270 through Adams County.
Thank you Green Latinos and Earthjustice for putting forward a solution that will *actually* reduce congestion on I-270, while supporting community health and sustainability! The CDOT proposal to widen the highway would just do the opposite. coloradosun.com/2025/11/21/i...

4-panel vertical comic. (1) 100 Years Ago [two people standing next to bicycle with small car nearby] PERSON 1: It’s too dangerous riding a bike with these cars around. I should get a car, too. (2) 50 Years Ago [two people between smaller car and bigger car] PERSON 2 with short hair: Small cars are less safe in collisions with larger vehicles, so I should get a bigger one. (3) Today [two people between big car and even bigger car] PERSON 1: Everyone has huge SUVs now. If I don’t get the biggest one, I’m putting my family at risk. (4) Soon [two people next to large armored car with spiked clubs attached] PERSON 2: If I don’t install more whirling spike clubs, I’ll be destroyed by all the other drivers who...
