there’s never enough masc’s anything. i used to trade the wet shelter femme’s toiletries for masc’s clothes & shoes, because they got the most and we got the least (teens exist and many of them need masc clothes & shoes)
generally there was enough gender neutral soaps for them to use. that’s it.

Our capacity to sort new clothes donations is pretty low right now but if you specifically have masc pants PLEASE bring them to one of our drop-off locations. Every other clothing resource organizer I've talked to has this issue too, there are just not enough masc pants ever 😭
Also, all y'all with eyes on Minneapolis right now, the overlap between immigration and houselessness is sizeable and ICE has been staking out shelters and warming centers and even sent armed agents inside Dorothy Day. Our unhoused neighbors have nowhere to hide.

In the wake of YET ANOTHER tragedy perpetrated by the federal government, friends, neighbors, and volunteers gathered to pack a uhaul full of groceries organized by a friend of the Depot. Staples like rice, but also stuffed animals and coloring sets. We all feel helpless, but we do what we can.
