Awesome Yeah omg I am not good at intuitively figuring out face proportions in side profiles myself tbh & I always seem to make the face longer than it should be. but the curved/angled chin-neck connection thing has been super helpful to learn in my experience too tbh 😭
the neck wouldn’t have to be as thin as I drew it here I’m just not great at phone drawing 😭
tbh I am trying to improve my side profiles too but one thing I noticed that might be making it look “off” to u is that the neck is angled more diagonally & the chin-neck connection usually is more curved! tried to show what I mean but sry if it looks bad bc I did it on my phone 😭
