Same drawing but in procreate, imo the linework has a better feel to it.
Did one in Procreate which I liked better based on the same idea and if anyone has a Clip Studio brush that emulates the Wapping Ink brush I'd love to have it. I did my best to make my own but it just feels off.

Beyond exhausted by the slow creep of general acceptance of using AI for images etc. for small things like tournaments or for blood bowl teams, it's so fucking bad looking every time.

So disappointing to see them using AI so heavily, the 'painted minis' on the cover is an AI generated image as is all the art. Wouldn't be a stretch to assume they're using ai for the models and then simply tidying them up, it would explain the far too tiny details. #fuckai
Like I know that technically speaking it's not good, but that's so dependent on how you view it. I love it, watched it again during lockdown and was surprised how much fun I still had with it

Kind of, he was a feature in old white dwarf magazines in the 80s but was always Carl's creation. There are some comics out there too, I have a few, and they are really charming and fun. He's had a few minis too and I'm honoured to be among those sculptors in even this small way.

Thanks they were a lot of fun. Doing big commissions was something of an experiment compared to making my own stuff. Definitely an interesting experience and there's a lot of fun in working with people which is something I don't get much of otherwise.
