I feel like it should be bigger news that Trump is now openly considering a military draft. Young men haven't been called up for a draft since 1972. Not during the Gulf War. Not during Iraq or Afghanistan. He received five draft deferments but is now open to drafting your kids.

The loss of Iranian lives is tragic, esp as those deaths were avoidable.

Not long ago Chump claimed to support Iranian protesters, even as his secret police were beating protesters (and worse) domestically.

And shortly thereafter bombs those he “supports”.

As US citizens, we’re bombarded with an unbelievable number of illegal acts by the govt on a daily basis. The sheer volume of lies told alone is nearly unbearable. Discussing American deaths is not the same as being dismissive of Iranian deaths or the horror they are living.

To be crystal clear when I use the word “regime” I am referring to the so-called US government. If you had even glanced at my profile, you would never have assumed I’m a war supporter. I’m critical of the regime as well as - yes - their 100% illegal war against Iran.

Deaths in other countries (specific only to this war) refers to the US military bases in other Middle Eastern countries that were attacked after the initial attack on Iran. If there were casualties - military or civilian - they are not reporting anything on it.

The regime lies about nearly everything, so the true number of deaths are almost certainly underreported. They lied that Israel bombed the girls’ school but the truth came out. They do NOT care for anyone beyond themselves and it’s reprehensible what they’re willing to do for money and power.

Agreed. With the American embassies under attack and no help from the regime getting out (nor advance notice to do so) I find it difficult to believe more haven’t died. The regime simply doesn’t care enough to track or report those deaths. Not to mention deaths in countries other than Iran.
