It's hard to boycott everything, but I want to encourage you to pick one or more companies and withhold your money. I'd love to hear which company you're boycotting, and if there's a company you're boycotting that isn't on this list.
For example, the boycott against Target started in February. Even though they're still resisting the will of the people, their profits have dropped. They're feeling the pain.
Many of these companies are also doing other awful things. This is mostly focused on their activities in the U.S. Boycotts can take a long time, but they work.
AirBnb -- Their founder was part of DOGE, and is taking a new position with the current government.
Spotify -- They are running ICE recruitment ads.
Starbucks -- They're anti-union, refusing to negotiate a fair contract with Starbucks Workers United baristas.
AT&T -- They provide technology to ICE, and receive tax breaks from the current government.
Target -- They caved to the current administration’s attacks on DEI.
Home Depot -- They've allowed ICE to kidnap our neighbors on their properties.
Amazon -- They've funded this administration to secure their own corporate tax cuts, and provide technological services to ICE.
I attended an information session last week with May Day Strong about the We Ain't Buying It! campaign to boycott a number of companies over Black Friday. I wanted to highlight a few of the companies that DO NOT deserve your money here:
