Hope it’s not true. I think for so many reasons we should stick with Carrick, but give some of the players a shake ! Strengthen the backroom staff too! And identify what we are doing to get so many training injuries - this year lots of Achilles injuries.

18.7 mile training walk today over the North York Moors. Still able to walk so far….

Good to pause for an hour today whilst doing the @rspb.bsky.social Big Garden Birdwatch. 47 birds including a grey wagtail. I had to use my Merlin bird app to help me with that one. No long tail tits this year. I imagine now they know I have done the watch they will be back soon😊

Our rare breed Soay tup “Thor” was getting bored with the ewes he is in with, as they are possibly all in lamb (scanning next week). So decided to jump in with last years texel x female lambs. Needless to say we swiftly removed him and he’s now in with the other rams for his 10 month “holiday”.

A new cut of our beef I tried tonight. Beef Skirt ….. seasoned with spices, lightly pan-fried on either side for 4 mins & left to rest. Served in tortilla wraps with home made salsa, cheese, stir fried onions & peppers, sour cream & salad. A very easy, tasty tea/dinner

Our 10 year old Labrador has finally let our mad spaniel sit with her …. Meanwhile Teddy has found another box ! 🐈🐕

I want songs to get the crowd buzzing & joining in. This isn’t doing it …. The atmosphere is not there. We need the whole ground singing as one !

My one big question after tonight’s @mfc.co.uk match - when did they bring in a rule that a thrown-in can be just a ball lobbed in ? There was 3 foul throws in a row from Burnley and not one pulled up ! #boro

Meet Bella, Thistle, Kalypso, Tango & Kiwi - our Royal Golden Guernsey goats. For a large proportion of the year they live in the wildflower meadow in front of our shepherd huts & do an amazing job of conservation grazing. Today they came home to spend the next few months inside in the warmth.
