Jupiter, somewhat grainy but with cloud bands clearly visible

Jupiter overexposed but with three moons visible in orbit.

These are fairly crummy photos, but they are just from a regular zoom lens plus a teleconverter. It’s shocking to me that you can see Jupiter that way. I don’t think I’m hallucinating the cloud bands in one, and in the other you can see three of Jupiter’s moons in orbit. #astrophotography

Well, ok, THAT’S exciting and now I know how I’ll be spending the first week in June…
