Pinksky is pretty interesting. My layperson’s take is that it filters Bluesky content to look more like Instagram. I’m sure that’s not technically correct, but it’s the best way I can understand it. Image posts from Bluesky show up there and all your followers and following, but reposts don’t.

art against Rump - after Jack Kirby. Colored by Shaun Riaz @shaunriaz.bsky.social
Good article. Good read.
I feel a lot of sorrow for newspaper cartoonists in general (I was one once) and for political cartoonists in particular (ditto, long ago). And rage... Mostly that.. toward the Lords of Media Inc. who have destroyed entire genres of comics that go back 150 years.
One of Donald Trump’s new executive orders, which claims there are only two genders, quietly incorporates tenets of fetal personhood – the legal doctrine, pushed by the anti-abortion movement, that life begins at conception.
This is what meta is doing now. Blocking abortion access. Vile.
Honored to have this review I wrote published on Hyperallergic
Fantastic obituary of Jules Feiffer this morning at @comicsjournal.bsky.social. Some stuff in here I had no idea about (like a 2018 movie of Bernard and Huey that I absolutely need to watch).

The consequences of ignorance, privilege, and the mythologizing nature of white supremacy throughout our society and collective national memory. (Panel from my adaptation of LIES MY TEACHER TOLD ME.)
One more Feiffer. Brilliant.
