Pretty much 100% of the music I've made has been process-driven, totally get the enjoyment of doing that. Just, in this case, I have something I don't think I can improve on. All my experience up to now pushes back against that but I think I should trust my instincts on this one

Made a new track and it made me understand that I don't trust doing things in one take. I do enjoy building tracks piece by piece - "building steam with a grain of salt" as DJ Shadow put it - but maybe I should accept that it's possible to lay something down once, and it can be solid.
