In 2022 & 2023, volunteers joined CRCL and the Pointe au Chien Indian Tribe to construct a reef using oyster shell. 1 1/2 years after, hay bales were placed in a marsh opening to slow wave energy & prevent further erosion. Thanks to the EPA & @raestuaries.bsky.social for supporting these projects!
