retro-inspired anime girl with a bright color scheme! Already prepped my adjustments for shirt printing haha. She's an OC of mine. Back on my retro-futurism kick, and still on my shoujo kick. The vibe was kind of inspired by the mall when I was a kid in the 90s, we'd go run around and tumble on the "shapes" carpet, and there was just a lot more neon signage. Luckily those signs have now been bought up by a local store and are on display there, so they live on!

2025 Racing Hatsune Miku standing at the ready to start biking on a boardwalk! I took the photos of my friend posing with her bike before actually planning out the picture lol, so I was a little torn on what sort of environment she should be in. I first considered a crosswalk or outside a convenience store, but tbh I was kinda not feeling drawing a city after drawing the mechanics of a bicycle. I've also been pushing more of the retro anime style lately too! It's fun and I've actually been reading up on how cels were painted and how xeroxing works to try and start adding little details to make it a little more authentic. Biggest surprise was learning that there was commonly a 3rd tone painted on the front of the cel as a separating line between light and shadow areas. This is my first time incorporating that, although its really subtle (just like it is in practice haha!) Keep an eye out for more racing Mikus, I have pics for 2022, 2021 (summer), and 2024 so far!

I've been drawing a whole bunch of racing Miku to make a little booklet of them!! This one is one of my faves so far 💃🚲

My 15 keychain designs of HoloEN's Myth, Promise, and Advent! I started them for AnimeNYC 2024 and have continued adding to the set! I hope I can do HoloJustice soon, I just have so many other pieces I need to finish ;; I would eventually like to start holoJP too, but these take me a long time to design and are kind of expensive to produce 2024 was a ROUGH year to start these LMAO. I think I finished Ame like a month before her graduation announcement, and then the graduations kept on rolling ;~;

Koseki Bijou from Hololive advent! A design of her in her casualwear outfit, surrounded by decor inspired by Frutiger Aero aesthetics/Windows Vista/Mac Agua. There's also a tiny bit of vaporwave with the low poly 3D feel on the pebble and the moai heads. The way I started with her rabbit mascot GEOW was inspired by bonzi buddy/clippy haha. I couldn't get the look down properly without it looking kind of crusty so I just went with harder shading and called it a day. Biboo is so zoomerish that I wanted to do a more recent but still nostalgic vibe for her desktop keychain!
