I didn’t see OP, yea nice twist on the American dream lol. But anyway I live in a van and don’t feel homeless it’s a lifestyle choice I am lucky enough to be able to take. ✌️

I live in a van and I feel very privileged compared to an actual homeless person, or even a rent slave who blow 15-20k a year on rent. I think years ago it might have been harder but today you can get yourself a solar generator with panels for 2k-3k and never worry much about electricity.

The world breaks my heart every day in multiple ways, but also a bluebird alerted me to a barred owl this evening

The interior of a van converted into a camper, as it mostly was when I bought it. Walls are covered with grey carpet and it’s very basic design with stuff hanging everywhere.

This is my home now. Been living in this since July 1st. A 90s van I got for 2500$ cad.

I fixed the exhaust with some fiberglass « duct tape » and metal and otherwise the engine is doing good at only 93k!

I am going to do a lot of changes on it so follow me to see the transformation going 🛠️🪚🚐

On Cote-Nord in Eastern Quebec they have a lot of sea beaches with dead wood coming down the rivers, and doing beach fire is something everyone did. Hearing the fire pop and the waves crashing while you look at the stars is the most relaxing thing on earth.
