Obvious that this has nothing to do with protecting women. They don't care at all about the issue.
The problem with this idea is that we currently have bombs and drones threatening British nationals, British forces/bases and allied nations. I'm not sure how a PM could justify letting them get killed when we can take (limited) defensive action to stop it. It's a horrid mess though.
