She's got a little art deco backpack!
These snails live in shallow waters at locations around the world (Hawaii, South Africa, Japan).

The sphinx moths in our area often come out at dusk. They are especially attracted to the four o’clock flowers.

Excellent article describing where we are at in the efforts to identify the AI fakery within the fire hose stream of information we ever more increasingly must wade through. At this point, it seems an impossible task.
News, social media, & advertising’s insatiable need for attention is all-consuming & constant — humanity’s dysfunction on full display in an unending stream. Of late, art and nature are helping me feel human again. Instead, I will find a real stream to look for fish and contemplate what matters.

I did this on the browser Duck Duck Go, and yes, it did take me directly to the DHS website. And once arriving at DHS, Duck Duck Go also informed me it had blocked 4 trackers. wtf
A Sandhill Crane keeping an eye on the photographer and looking a bit moody and it's hard not to observe that beautiful heart-shaped red skin patch at the angle of it's head. It's beak is pointed straight down showing the red patch well.

Made stained glass yard art gifts for my family & friends. Due to finances, it was a homemade holiday. The materials were from my mom’s former stained glass studio (she’s retired). Her old studio is now my design/illustration/letterpress shop. Now thinking of making it a homemade holiday every year.
