Thanks for listening to her. Hi Callie, nice to see you!
Thanks for listening to her. Hi Callie, nice to see you!
Did Kieran sniff it? Penny helps me get the mail and usually doesn't care what I get but she gave the sled mail a good sniff. I just realized she has been checking out other mailboxes and I thought it was the snowbanks putting them at nose level, but she may be checking for more good smelling mail.
I did that with a shirt recently. I cleaned up nicely to go to an appointment with a new nurse practitioner and came home to discover my shirt was inside out. I'm 54 and now I wonder if I'm going to get the elder care assessment on my next visit.
She'll have so many old friends to greet her. You gave her a wonderful retirement.
A sleepy copper-coloured dog is flopped on the back of a grey sofa. She has a grumpy face but it is her default setting.
Not very fuzzy but somehow sheds more than all the long-haired dogs we've had combined.
Holy crap. We're at -20C tonight with a windchill of -30C overnight. When I take Penny out in the morning I'll try to remember it could be worse. Meteorological Spring seems to have a sense of humour.
My mom sits on a stair to put her boots on at walkies time. Unfortunately, that puts her face at the same height as Penny's wagging weapon. She had a bruise beside her eye that mystified us until we remembered Penny "helping" her get ready for a walk.
I'm sure nothing could go wrong flying down a mountain being guided by a dog on a toboggan.
Brave girl! Great job team!
The dictionary knows what everyone is doing right now.
Penny got a Chuckit disc for Christmas and it has been either too cold, windy, or icy to play. We took a lunch break today to play in the squishy snow. One of us fell in a hole (it wasn't Penny).
Less time than Skeleton, I assume.
A yawning copper-coloured dog curled up in a kennel
Penny's kennel tucks into an alcove so she has her own bedroom. With the cold, grey days we're having I have to convince her to get up in the morning.
So much woe it barely fits in the ginormous kennel.
I've had the small one straight on my car since last summer and it is holding up. We had a really hot summer and the coldest winter in years so it has been put to the test.
I haven't skiied since I was in my 20s and I was very good at falling. This would not have been the job for me.
Where do I find puppy seeds to plant in my garden?
Penny went outside in her jacket, ran down for a tinkle and ran back in.
An important tale that bears repeating. There has never been a more innocent guilty dog.
Please tell her she looks cute in her pjs and I hope she feels better soon.
In Canada, we lost our "eradicated" status for measles in Nov. I think we may have higher per capita stupid.
Holy crap. I live a couple hours north of Toronto ON and we have all types of weather in winter. I've never seen anything like that. I hope it melts slowly so you don't have flooded basements.
No creative help here, but the aurora is gorgeous.
This was after she finished her afternoon alligator-wookie-dinosaur session on her bed in my office. By 3ish she is done with me working (so am I, but someone needs to pay Penny's bills).
Venti, you have spectacular ears.
Sass, this kitty cat is begging for a belly rub. Surely this time it won't be a no.
2 Christmas ornaments- a grumpy faced copper-coloured dog in a Santa hat and a Canadian penny.
The real copper-coloured dog, Penny, napping on a couch
#UglyDogs my neighbour's daughter is an artist. She has been home for the holidays and she kept busy making ornaments. She captured Penny perfectly and the penny coin has a paw print on the back.
My mom makes excellent fridge cleaner soups that are thick enough to be stew. We call it stoup.
Again, you're supposed to put the product on your food.
Please do not suck the condiment treats, people!
I got mine eventually but it was missing one tshirt for my dad. After trying to cancel it twice, I got a refund. I will die laughing and crying if it eventually appears (it wasn't a shipping problem, it said "in production" for 6 months before I gave up hope).
